I'm so glad you left this comment, I was second doubting myself because I've been watching other people's videos on the Filofax originals and nobody seems to dwell on the flaws I have mentioned, so I thought I might have been a bit harsh :) They just bug me though. I do love the filofax, I love the feel of the leather, as you say, I like that it is just one thick piece. It is a beautiful design, aside from the fact that I think the inside layout isn't very user-friendly.

I have come up with a few solutions to the bits that don't quite work for me, and I am in the process of creating another video which should be up on my youtube channel shortly. Did you watch my previous one? I went off on a bit of a rant :/

Ooh, you have the Osterley - I love that one too. I have been keeping my eye open for a bargain on Ebay. I went into the big Paperchase in London last weekend to ogle Filofaxes and had my first feel of those hot pink patent dominos - they are gorgeous! I love the way they feel and the colours are very pretty... I'm not normally a pink person, but I have to say I was tempted...

Anyway, thanks for your comment, and feeling my pain :) xxZara M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12717456143284633193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7815347271546875249.post-48069911797575554752015-04-14T19:53:01.067+00:002015-04-14T19:53:01.067+00:00I completely agree with you, I have the Original i...I completely agree with you, I have the Original in Dark Aqua, and because isn't patent you will not see that marks, but I do have the Hot Pink Domino and if you accidentally go with your pen on it, it's quite hard to clean it off! Back to the Original Filofax... yes the pen loops are ridiculous, the pockets for the card are even more ridiculous, because if you put a card in there and then a receipt on the back, goes all scrunched, cuz of the cards! That's why I decided to keep my beautiful Osterley as my main Filofax, and the Original for things like recipes, my daughter routines, activities, etc etc... I do like the leather feel of the Original, quite smooth... but I guess patent isn't the same as my dark aqua... anyway... oh yeah the notes! You couldn't be more right! They should be at the front! Would make so much sense! And would be so much practical! Believe me I feel your pain lol, anyway hope you find your way around it!
