I am Zara M. I am a writer and artist, and I love, love, love to blog :) Filofancy was one of my very first attempts at creating a blog, many years ago.
It all started with me falling in love with a gorgeous A5 Aqua Chameleon Filofax planner. I was thrilled to find that it had been discounted on the Filofax website, and I eagerly awaited its arrival.
In the meantime, I was online trying to pass the time by gushing over other people's Filofaxes and finding out how they were using them. During this time I realised it was a thing to post unboxing videos on YouTube, and that people were creating whole blogs dedicated to their love of Filofaxes and stationery. It was quite a revelation at the time (remember, this was a very long time ago).
So I decided to give the blogging and vlogging thing a go. It had always been my dream to be a "writer" and I had finally found a very receptive, not to mention, ready-made audience. I set out to blog and vlog about the Filofax collection that I very quickly began to accumulate after my first purchase, along with the creative ideas I wanted to share about how I was using them all.
It was so much fun, and the interaction with readers was awesome. I owed a lot of my audience to Philofaxy. They were brilliant at picking up my new posts and linking to them on the Philofaxy blog. It was such a great sense of community.
I return occasionally to publish a new post on the blog because I still enjoy using my planners and journals. I hope that you enjoy reading my stuff because I love to share it and then read and reply to your comments.
